PYYROS is the brain child of Adam Nichols, a US Military veteran and avid outdoorsman. Throughout his military career and life experience, Adam noticed that in every emergency situation - military, natural disasters, expedition emergencies on land, air and sea - three elements are essential: light, fire and power.  

PYYROS contains these elements and so much more! It even includes a Personal Beacon Locator (PBL) transmitting on both the 121.5mhz + 406mhz frequencies, making search + rescue possible anywhere on the planet.

MODULAR & EXPANDABLE  

PYYROS is 100% modular and expandable. Add our basic survival modules: CrossFire Fire Starter, screwdriver set, Personal Beacon Locator, USB power generator, and hammer cap or purchase empty modules (post-Kickstarter) to house own tools, like a mending kit, medication, money, etc...

PYYROS PBL - We developed the second smallest dual band Personal Beacon Locator in the world! It is 100% compliant with the international COSPAS - SARSAT standards. Thanks to the digital 406MHz satellite frequency, search + rescue teams can locate you in the case of an emergency - anywhere on the planet!
